Free e-Course with the EMQ/MCQ course.
If you book to come on the EMQ course, you will automatically get free access to the EMQ e-Course. This will be added to your basket when you book the other courses, and a discount to the value of the e-Course will be applied.

If you wish to book places for several individuals, please do so by submitting separate orders. If you want to book a place on behalf of some-one else, when you come to enter address details, you will be able to enter the participant's details. However, for the e-course, each user of the course will need their own registration details on the website (as the course is online, and requires your login details to allow you to continue), so please order your own e-courses!

For venue details and pre-course preparation, click on the course you are interested in and you will be able to download maps and print out pre-course material. The mrcgpexam WORKBOOKS are available in two forms - a traditional bound copy (requires additional payment) which will be posted to you, or in the form of a free eBook which you can download straight away.

More about eBooks
eBooks are electronic versions of the workbooks that you can read on your computer, using the ubiquitous (and free!) Adobe Acrobat Reader v6. If you don't have Acrobat Reader installed on your computer, it can be downloaded from Adobe. This is a one off process, and once installed you will be able to read your eBooks. We recommend you install Acrobat before purchasing your eBooks to ensure compatability with your computer's operating system. Check here for system requirements
The eBooks are copy protected - in other words, when you purchase an eBook, only you will be able to read it - you will not be able to share it with others, for obvious copyright reasons. When your purchase is completed, you will be presented with a link from which to collect your eBook. This link will also be emailed to you. Once you have collected the eBook, the link will become de-activated, and will no longer work, so please make sure you save your eBook on your own computer. Users of shared/work computers (such as NHS staff) are recommended to save the eBook on their home computer. It is possible to apply for a replacement copy of the eBook, but we would encourage you to keep your eBooks safe!
The eBooks have a shelf life of 1 year - after that time period, they will cease to work. We're sure you will have passed the MRCGP exams by that time anyway!

Note regarding Adobe Acrobat Reader v8
Adobe have recently released a new version of Acrobat Reader, which no longer supports their eBooks (as used by the mrcgpexam website). They have added a separate "lightweight" application called Digital Editions to handle eBooks, and this promises to offer some excellent new features. However, it is currently not released fully - only in "beta" form, and as such does not allow printing and certain other features, which will be added for the final release version.

If you have Acrobat Reader v8 installed, please purchase your eBooks as normal and use the Digital Editions beta to read them. Until the final version of Digital Editions is released, you may need to use the "contact us" (within "About Us" on the sidebar) to get technical assistance (particularly regarding printing).

Unless you have a need to upgrade Acrobat Reader to versionm 8, we recommend that you continue to use version 6 or 7 until Adobe release Digital Editions in its final form.
